A commissioned art project by Mainside for LX Factory

When it was built, the LX Factory was a textile factory. At the beginning of the 20th century, this business ended and, in its place, a typography factory began to work. In both cases, hundreds of workers worked and lived within the perimeter of the site.
The common room of these same workers was precisely where Rio Maravilha is located today. Maintaining the spirit of conviviality, Rio Maravilha is a gastropub that pays homage to two rivers - the Lisbon river, the Tagus River, and the river from Brasil, Rio de Janeiro.
With a bar that offers an extensive list of signature cocktails, beers and wines, the restaurant has a menu inspired by the fusion of Portuguese and Brazilian recipes and ingredients.
The decor is unique, industrial, strong in modern design elements, thus creating the perfect environment for a riverside experience that only Lisbon and the Tagus can offer.
